I’m excited to announce a major content drop for the site as we gear up for our upcoming campaign. We’ve filled in some of the most critical sections, bringing the Voidfinder universe to life with new rules and rich lore.
Here’s a look at what’s new:
- Character Creation > Backgrounds: This section is now live! You can browse a full list of backgrounds available for your characters, each designed to root your hero in the everyday life of the Core Worlds, from corporate agents and scrappy spacers to grizzled mercenaries.
- Character Creation > Classes: The much-anticipated class guidelines are here! This page gives a flavorful overview of how each of the Starfinder 2e playtest classes fits into the Voidfinder setting, complete with lore-specific examples to inspire your character concepts.
- Setting > Magic & Technology: How do magic and tech coexist? This foundational page is now complete, detailing the setting’s core principles. Learn about the four methods of magical expression (Granted, Inherited, Intuited, and Taught) and the crucial difference between Magitech and Technomancy.
- Setting > Factions & Organizations: The major players of the galaxy have been detailed. This page gives you an in-depth look at the corporations (like Zenith Energy and Apex Dynamic), military forces (like the RCM and the Crimson Fleet), and other key groups vying for power in the Core Worlds.
