At 1st level, you gain one ancestry feat, and you gain an additional ancestry feat every 4 levels thereafter (at 5th, 9th, 13th, and 17th level). As a vesperian, you choose from among the following ancestry feats.
1st Level
FLICKERING DODGE [REACTION] — Feat 1
Trigger: A creature targets you with an attack.
Requirements You are aware of the attack
You react with impossible speed, blurring out of harm’s way. You can Take Cover. If you are in an area of dim light or darkness when you do so, you also become hidden from the triggering creature until the start of your next turn or until you move from your position, whichever comes first.
FOUR-FOOTED DASH [TWOACTIONS] — Feat 1
Requirements Both of your hands are free.
You drop to all fours and bound forward like an animal. You Stride twice and gain a +10-foot status bonus to your Speed during these Strides.
HUMANOID GUISE [ONEACTION] — Feat 1
(Concentrate, Occult, Polymorph, Vesperian)
You have learned the basics of your people’s shapeshifting abilities. You transform into a single, specific Medium humanoid form, chosen when you take this feat. This form is always the same and has roughly analogous physical traits to your true form. Using this ability counts as creating a disguise for the Impersonate use of Deception. You can remain in your alternate form indefinitely, and you can shift back to your Vesperian form by using this action again.
VESPERIAN CHARM — Feat 1
Your fey magic allows you to subtly influence the minds of others. You can cast charm as a 1st-rank occult innate spell once per day.
VESPERIAN LORE — Feat 1
You have studied the ways of the galaxy and how your people fit within it. You become trained in Deception and Society. If you would automatically become trained in one of those skills (from your background or class, for example), you instead become trained in a skill of your choice. You also gain the Additional Lore general — Feat for Vesperian Lore.
VESPERIAN SPELL FAMILIARITY — Feat 1
During your daily preparations, choose one cantrip from the occult spell list. You can cast this cantrip as an occult innate spell at will. A cantrip is heightened to a spell rank equal to half your character level rounded up.
Special You can select this — Feat multiple times. Each time you do, you choose an additional cantrip from the occult spell list during your daily preparations.
VEXING QUIPS — Feat 1
You have a knack for witty banter that can entertain an ally or thoroughly befuddle a foe. You gain the Bon Mot skill feat. Additionally, if you roll a critical failure on a check to use Bon Mot, you get a failure instead.
5th Level
ADAPTABLE GUISE — Feat 5
Prerequisites Humanoid Guise, trained in Deception
You have mastered your shapeshifting abilities. When you use Humanoid Guise, it functions as a 2nd-rank casting of humanoid form, except its duration is indefinite.
FEY PRANKSTER — Feat 5
You have a talent for classic fey tricks. Choose one spell from the following list: blur, darkness, invisibility, or mirror image. You can cast this spell as a 2nd-rank occult innate spell once per day.
VESPERIAN SPELL MYSTERIES — Feat 5
Prerequisites Vesperian Spell Familiarity or Vesperian Charm
Your understanding of your innate fey magic deepens. Choose two spells from the following list: befuddle, fear, illusory disguise, or invisible item. You can cast each of these chosen spells as a 1st-rank occult innate spell once per day.
WILD TUNNELER — Feat 5
Prerequisites Primal Heart Vesperian
You can burrow through the earth as easily as you run across it. You gain a burrow Speed of 10 feet.
9th Level
COMPELLING CHARM — Feat 9
Prerequisites Vesperian Charm
Your enchanting magic grows more potent. The frequency of your charm innate spell increases to twice per day. You can also cast mind reading as a 3rd-rank occult innate spell once per day.
EXPERT GUISE — Feat 9
Prerequisites Adaptable Guise, expert in Deception
Your command of your physical form has grown significantly. When you use Humanoid Guise, it now functions as a 4th-rank humanoid form spell, except its duration is indefinite.
VESPERIAN SPELL EXPERTISE — Feat 9
Prerequisites Vesperian Spell Mysteries
You learn to weave deeper connections with your magic. You can cast empathic link as a 3rd-rank occult innate spell once per day. In addition, the two spells you chose for the Vesperian Spell Mysteries — Feat can now be cast as 3rd-rank spells.
13th Level
AVATAR OF THE WILD — Feat 13
Prerequisites Primal Heart Vesperian
You can channel the might of the Wild, transforming into a colossal beast. You can cast animal form as a 5th-rank occult innate spell once per day. You must choose the canine form, which takes the appearance of a Huge, multi-tailed fox.
BEGUILING PRESENCE — Feat 13
Prerequisites Compelling Charm
Your mastery over the minds of others is nearly absolute. The frequency of your charm innate spell increases to three times per day. You can also cast glimmer of charm as a 5th-rank occult innate spell once per day.
17th Level
FEY ROAD — Feat 17
You know the secret paths between worlds. You can cast interplanar teleport as a 7th-rank occult innate spell once per day. You can only use this to travel from Reality to the Wild, and you always arrive at the location in the Wild that corresponds to your location in Reality. When you are in the Wild, you can cast interplanar teleport at will, but only to return to the location in Reality that corresponds to your current location in the Wild.
MASTERFUL GUISE — Feat 17
Prerequisites Masterful Guise, master in Deception
Your control over your form is absolute. When you use Humanoid Guise, it now functions as a 5th-rank humanoid form spell, except its duration is indefinite.
