Trigger: You attempt a saving throw against an effect with the mental trait, but you haven’t rolled yet.
The cosmic portion of your synthesized mind braces against the mental assault. You gain a +2 circumstance bonus to the triggering saving throw.
MELDAN LORE — Feat 1
The knowledge of your Aethelion grants you unexpected insight. You become trained in your choice of one Intelligence-based skill. You also become trained in your choice of Astral Lore or Astronomy Lore.
You also gain the Additional Lore general — Feat for Meldan Lore.
MENTAL RESILIENCE — Feat 1
Your composite mind, part mortal and part cosmic, is inherently difficult to harm. You gain resistance to mental damage equal to half your level (minimum 1).
OTHERWORLDLY PRESENCE — Feat 1
The alien nature integrated into your being is subtly unsettling. You gain a +1 circumstance bonus to Intimidation checks to Demoralize.
SHARED KNOWLEDGE — Feat 1
The vast experiences of your aethelion symbiote are now your own, granting you expertise in areas your host body has never studied. You become trained in two skills of your choice.
MELDAN COMMUNION — Feat 1
You can communicate mentally with other meldans (gestalts and solarians) within 30 feet. You can communicate only with meldans that share a language with you. This doesn’t give you any access to their thoughts, and it communicates no more information than normal speech would.
VIGILANT MIND — Feat 1
The cosmic senses integrated into your consciousness allow you to perceive details others often miss. You gain a +1 circumstance bonus to Perception checks.
5th Level
MELDAN’S INSIGHT [FREEACTION] — Feat 5
Frequency: Once per day
Trigger: You are about to attempt a Recall Knowledge check.
You draw upon the alien knowledge integrated within your mind. You gain a +2 status bonus to the check if you are trained in the skill. If you are untrained, you can add your level to the check instead of your normal untrained modifier.
FADE FROM SIGHT [ONEACTION] — Feat 5
Frequency: Once per hour
You briefly shimmer with cosmic energy, partially obscuring your form. You become concealed until the start of your next turn.
9th Level
COSMIC KNOWLEDGE — Feat 9
Prerequisites: Meldan Lore
The ancient knowledge integrated into your mind allows you to access obscure information. Once per day, you can spend 10 minutes in quiet contemplation to gain the effects of augury, with the GM providing the answer from the perspective of an ancient cosmic entity.
PSYCHIC DISSONANCE — Feat 9
When a lesser mind attempts to intrude upon your alien consciousness and fails, the incongruous nature of your thoughts causes a painful backlash. If you succeed at a saving throw against a creature’s effect that has the mental trait and attempts to read your thoughts or control you, the triggering creature takes 2d8 mental damage. If you critically succeed, it takes 4d8 mental damage instead.
SOLARIAN AWAKENING — Feat 9
Your bond deepens, unlocking the potential for cosmic power. You gain the Solarian Dedication feat, even if you don’t meet its prerequisites. If you are already a solarian or have the Solarian Dedication feat, you instead gain a 1st- or 2nd-level solarian class feat.
UNCANNY AWARENESS — Feat 9
While you go about your business, the alien perspective of your mind keeps a watchful eye on your surroundings. You are considered to always be using the Search exploration activity in addition to any other exploration activity you are performing.
13th Level
DISTANT MIND — Feat 13
You can project your consciousness’s non-physical senses to a distant location. You can cast clairvoyance once per day as a 4th-rank innate occult spell.
WARPED STRIDE [ONEACTION] — Feat 13
Frequency: Once per hour
You leverage the extra-dimensional nature of your mind to bend space. You either Stride then Step, or Step then Stride.
17th Level
PERFECT SYMBIOSIS — Feat 17
You have achieved a perfect synthesis, allowing you to perceive the world with the full, unfiltered senses of your Aethelion heritage. You are under the constant effect of truesight, allowing you to see through illusions, transformations, and the true form of creatures, viewing the universe as it truly is.
